This week inside the Lab, we take a step back in time and we revisit our time with John Zentgraf, of Thrive Group.

For more than 30 years John owned manufacturing, processing, and service businesses in start-up, turn around, and growth environments. He did this both individually and as a founder and partner in a private equity firm. He was also a founder and partner in investment banking firm where he provided mergers and acquisitions advisory. 

After his private equity firm sold its last investment, John took some time to explore what he wanted to do with the remainder of this career and specifically how he could build a business that would have a powerful impact long after his time on the planet. During this time, he sailed more than 4,000 miles over a year and half.  

When he returned, he began a business journey that built upon his experience, education, and life lessons. Today John leads the Thrive Group in South Florida. Thrive’s focus is helping owners create more valuable businesses, gain freedom from their businesses, and enjoy their journeys substantially more. Thrive offers business owners Mastermind Groups, Strategy Intensives, Success Accelerators and Exit Planning.
